The iPhone 8’s Facial Recognition will only take ‘millionths of a second’ to recognize your face

These days, Facial Recognition is something like important and needed feature for any Smartphone. That’s why many Top Mobile Brands include this feature in their newly created phones.

But the problem is not just the feature but the Speed of recognizing a face.

No worry, the tech giant Apple got it. The new iPhone 8 is packed with this feature along with an impressive Speed of Recognition. The iPhone 8  is expected to launch in September and will come with many new amazing features and hardware.

It will come with the fastest Facial Recognition technology. According to the new report from the Korean Herald, the Facial Recognition technology included in iPhone 8 will be able to recognize your face in “millionths of a second.”

The new facial recognition scanner with 3D sensors can deeply sense a user’s face in the millionths of a second,” says the Korean Herald report, citing an anonymous source familiar with the matter.

Also, 3D sensors [will] be adopted for the front and rear of the device to realize AR applications, which integrate 3D virtual images with user’s environment in real time,” it adds

The use of Facial Recognition technology in the iPhone is going to be huge as fingerprint scanner technology is already as quick as possible. It is more convenient than typing in a numeric code. So it is not worth to compare this technology to the “millionths of a second” claim.
Apple already built Touch ID in 2013 which takes around 1 second to scan a finger. Apple is upgrading its technology to make it faster than ever. Although, it is slightly faster since then.
In addition, new Apple iPhone 8 is coming with wireless charging, a “copper” take on rose gold, and improved speed and efficiency.
